ALIMUGLO MAEBLE

When marble surfaces are cleaned regularly, complex detergents and maintenance procedures will never be required. When natural stone is neglected, dirt and oil are allowed to accumulate, and therefore the surface can be damaged beyond repairs and cracks, which will almost certainly be caused by general deterioration. Improper cleaning agents containing alkaline, acidic metallic salts or other strong additives attack the natural stone and increase and grow the number of pores that hold dirt. Soap and a corrosive types of cleaning agents should never be used on marble surfaces. Such cleaning agents react with the natural stone component, which destroys the beauty of natural stone and form a soapy foam, counting the formation of oily or slippery layers that will catch or hold dirt. The use of a corrosive cleaning materials will cause scratches that do not appear on the surface. It is almost impossible to remove a corrosive cleaning materials by rinsing, and normal pedestrian traffic will now sand corrosive particles into the surface, thereby ruining the flooring. Ideal cleaning material must first of all be effective in removing dust. The latter should not cause any discoloration or damage to the surface layer. It should be able to rinse freely even in hard water. The secret of very beautiful marble is just to keep it clean. Cleaning and maintenance of natural stone differs from ceramic or porcelain. Proper maintenance of this porous material will ensure its durability and beauty over the years. It is a necessary step in the protection of natural stone to remove the usual dirt and soil daily. Sweeping components containing oil should never be used in natural stones, as these will probably cause discoloration on the surface. Cleaners containing acid or bleach scratch the surface and ruin the natural stone; therefore neutral cleaning materials should be used. In case of heavy traffic on the ground, traces of all dirt solutions should be cleaned daily until they disappear and rinsed with clean water. Then the natural stone should be left to dry. The protection and maintenance of natural stone is quite simple. When proper procedures are followed, the products will maintain their initial beauty and durability for a lifetime. After laying to ensure the best service from natural stone, thoroughly clean the product and follow a regular maintenance schedule. Immediately after laying, clean the flooring from free residi, dirt and foreign substances. Use clean hot water with clean, soft cloths, sponges or mats. Leave to dry. An additional second rinse may be required to remove additional layers. Apply a thin, smooth layer of sealer and leave the excess sealer to dry after removing it before it dries. If an over-sealer has been applied, this can be eliminated by applying a reseal to reactivate the residibles. Be sure to perch this before it dries. It can be used for normal pedestrian traffic within 3-5 hours, but must be protected from dry and stain-making substances for 72 hours. It is highly recommended that the above-mentioned procedures be completed immediately after laying and repeated within the scope of a regular maintenance program.
